Questions homeowners ask
What areas do you serve?
Homes in the Charlotte area: Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Concord, Mooresville, Huntersville and Lake Norman in North Carolina, and Fort Mill and Rock Hill in South Carolina.
Can I keep my cabinets and just change the counters?
Often, yes. If the boxes are solid and level, new counters and a backsplash change the room a lot for much less.
Do I have to move out?
Usually not. You'll be without a working kitchen for part of the project, so we plan a temporary setup with you before demolition.
Can you remodel the bathroom while we keep using the other one?
Yes, that's the usual plan. If it's your only bathroom, we talk about timing before we start.
My shower has a soft spot in the floor. Is that a problem?
Usually it means water has reached the subfloor. It's worth checking soon; the fix is easier before the damage spreads.
Can you tile over my existing tile?
Sometimes, if the old tile is solid and flat and the height change works at doors and appliances. More often, removing it gives a better result; we'll tell you which after looking.
Why does large tile cost more to install?
It needs a flatter floor and more careful setting to avoid uneven edges, so the preparation takes longer.
